The Scribbler

Thank you for visiting Scribble~Scrabble, the blog of Dawn Koch.  Dawn is a writer, reader, and listener of the personal stories of women and young women.   Dawn writes for self-understanding, personal development, creative expression, and transformation.  Her writing practice takes the shape of journaling, poetry, personal essays, and free writing exercises.  Dawn shares her story with the hope that other women will find the courage, strength, or voice to share their own stories.  She reveals her personal transformation so that other women may be inspired to begin a transformation for themselves.

Dawn has recently received an Individualized Master of Arts in Women’s Transformative Writing Process from Antioch University McGregor in Yellow Springs Ohio. Dawn works independently creating and facilitating writing workshops and one-on-one coaching sessions for women interested in using writing as a tool for transformation and personal development. Writing groups focus on journaling, personal narrative, poetry, and writing process.

Dawn also currently works as the Young Women’s and Outreach Programs Coordinator at Women Writing for (a) Change in Cincinnati, OH (www.womenwriting.org), creating and facilitating writing groups, consultations, and other programs for adult women, teens, and young girls.  She also leads writing workshops in public schools and group homes for teens-at-risk through WWf(a)C Outreach.
